Read MoreIt has been a strange year, and looks set to continue that way for some time. Many of us have been forced to try new ways of doing things, not least when we decided to try to have a virtual show. This worked extremely well, as you will see from the following.
Read MoreWell we have had a great response to our Virtual Show with 135 entries from 40 competitors. Thank you to all who entered and hope it gave you all a chance to show your skills be it growing flowers, fruit and vegetables or your creative skills with cookery, craft and floral art.
Read MoreWe had hoped that we might have been able to resume our ‘business as usual’ and hold our monthly talks from September onwards, but St. Peter’s School Head has advised us that they would prefer us to defer our use of their hall until October, to allow them to risk assess the main return to school, in isolation of other risks.

Read MoreThe BRHS Flower Show, traditionally held as part of the Village Festival in August, has had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and government guidance on large gatherings. We have instead decided to follow in the footsteps of the RHS and host a virtual show that everyone can get involved in!
