On Saturday 23rd August 2025, Burton & Rossett Horticultural Society held our 75th Annual Show at Darland High School in Rossett. We had a total of 376 exhibits from 74 exhibitors which the Show Secretary was extremely pleased about. We had an amazing display and we were very impressed with the flowers and vegetable, amazing due to the difficult growing conditions this summer.

Read MoreOn 28th May 29 members and friends enjoyed a wonderful day trip to RHS Garden Bridgewater, and the gardens have matured beautifully since our last visit in July 2022.

Read MoreThe Society’s June show and plant sale was held on Saturday 8th June at St Peter’s School in Rossett. The show was opened by two choirs from St. Peter’s School both singing two songs each with actions. They were very good and clearly enjoyed themselves. They were a delight, and we thank them, their parents for bringing them and the members of staff who came in on a Saturday afternoon to lead them.
