Lighting the Christmas Tree in Rossett

A number of members of the Society were at the Green with many more people to see the Christmas tree being lit for the first time on 30th November. St. Peter's Primary School choir sang a lovely selection of carols.

The Society contributed to the cost of the tree together with the community council and the festival committee.

The decorated tree makes a real festive statement in the centre of the village, and after seeing the tree lit up, everyone went home feeling a festive glow.
