Please join us for a private garden visit to Stephen Lacey’s family garden in Wrexham, max allowed 25. The family moved to their new house and 1 acre garden in 1979. The general layout of the garden had not changed hugely since 1910, when the house was built on the edge of town: a compartmented pattern of square and rectangular lawns and beds on flat ground below a terrace. Since those early days the garden has been rejigged numerous times. Stephen states there are some principles behind his planting- to try to give each area its own character, colours and shape.
The garden is on different levels though it is possible to avoid steps. However, the paving slabs are very uneven and prone to be slippery if wet so please wear good shoes, and it may not be suitable to people with walking difficulties.

It is on the Chester side of town, and there is plenty of parking. Also easy to get to via the number 1 Arriva bus.
